Alexander Johns
RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, CO-FOUNDER
As a teenager, Alex was exposed to the construction and real estate industry through his family's business. He worked for his father's company, Design & Construction, where he learned the values of work ethic, customer service, and the importance of helping people improve their homes - their most valuable asset.
Alex furthered his education by obtaining a Finance and Management Degree from the University of Kentucky. This degree allowed him to advance in his career and gain valuable skills in management, including business management, people management, analytical skills, inventory management, and cash planning.
Sean Schmitt
RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, CO-FOUNDER
Sean, a Louisville native, is a dynamic and enthusiastic person. With his previous experience as a Deputy Compliance Officer, he managed compliance operations across North America. Throughout his career in risk and compliance, Sean has consistently prioritized integrity and ethical values. He graduated from the University of Kentucky, where he studied Business/Corporate Communications. With his strong background as an auditor and analyst, Sean is meticulous in his work, whether he is in the office or supervising a project site.

Jacob Mizner
Chief of Staff
Jacob is deeply committed to A&S Construction's core pillars: Integrity, Communication, and Quality of Work. He reinforces these values through customer-first messaging and by helping staff clearly articulate product/service decisions.
As a Michigan native, Jacob adds a personal touch of humor and uniqueness to everything he does.

Avery Smith
operations manager
Having accumulated more than 8 years of experience in renovation and remodeling and recently as a Plumber Apprentice, Avery joined A&S as a Project Consultant. He is a passionate individual who devotes himself wholeheartedly to everything he does, be it advancing in his profession, practicing jujitsu and boxing, spending time with his family, or doting on his beloved Golden Retriever.
Jace Wilson
Product & Service Manager

Jace Wilson is from Shepherdsville, KY, where he attended North Bullitt High School. He then went on to play baseball and study at Kentucky State University, earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in management. As the Operations Specialist at A&S, Jace ensures a smooth transition for homeowners from sales to installation. His role also includes handling service calls, building material lists, and creating custom deck designs tailored to the homeowners' vision. Jace is committed to upholding A&S's core values of communication, integrity, and quality workmanship in everything he does and his dedication to excellence guarantees a top-notch experience for every project.

Interior Project manager
With a foundation in logistics and a passion for precision, Abriella brings unmatched efficiency and attention to detail to residential interior project management. She’s driven by a commitment to quality, clear communication, and meeting deadlines without compromise. From coordinating contractors and vendors to managing timelines and budgets, Abriella ensures every phase of a project runs smoothly.

Ryan Dinnegan is a seasoned Design Consultant along with over 11 years of experience in the mortgage industry. A graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Kentucky, Ryan brings a deep understanding of customer service and project management to every client interaction.
Now focused on home improvement solutions, Ryan is passionate about guiding clients through their projects from the initial idea to the final result. His commitment to delivering an exceptional experience ensures that every client’s vision is brought to life with quality and care. Known for his reliability, expertise, and client-first approach, Ryan thrives on helping homeowners create spaces they’re proud of. He believes that the details matter—and it shows in every project he takes on.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys fishing, playing golf, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and daughter.

Tony Kimball

Tony is a veteran with over 35 years of experience in the building trades and construction industry, along with four years of specialized experience in the sales and design of kitchens, baths, and tile-friendly spaces. This unique background makes him highly qualified—not only in project management—but also in guiding projects from concept to completion.
Tony is an attentive listener who excels at identifying potential hurdles and presenting alternative solutions to bring his clients’ vision to life. He believes the most rewarding part of his work is knowing he has earned the trust of a satisfied client.

Jeannine Alcober
ADministrative assistant
Jeannine is an Administrative Assistant at A&S Construction with a strong background in operations management, project coordination, and administrative support. She previously served as Operations Manager for a construction-related company, where she oversaw daily operations, monitored project timelines and budgets, managed manpower and payroll, prepared executive reports, handled inventory, and supported bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial tracking.
Her experience also includes on-site project supervision as a Project-in-Charge and Safety Officer, giving her a practical understanding of field operations, documentation, and resource coordination. In addition, Jeannine brings several years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, supporting brand presence and client engagement.
At A&S Construction, she applies this diverse experience to support administrative workflows, scheduling, documentation, reporting, and internal coordination — helping ensure efficient day-to-day operations and smooth project execution.

Mitchie Dausan
Assistant Bookkeeper
Mitchie Dausan is a skilled Assistant Bookkeeper with strong experience in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and cloud‑based accounting systems. She helps business owners gain clarity in their finances by keeping their books organized, accurate, and up‑to‑date.
Her expertise includes full‑cycle bookkeeping, account setup, customized charts of accounts, bank and credit card integrations, payment gateway setup, invoice and bill management, bank categorization, and preparation of key financial reports. She also provides reliable payroll support, including processing, timesheet management, tax compliance, payslip distribution, and year‑end reporting.
With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency, Mitchie delivers consistent, high‑quality work. She’s trustworthy, solutions‑oriented, and dedicated to helping businesses maintain a solid financial foundation.

Nate Owens
Project Consultant
Nate aims to please and takes pride in doing a good job. He helps keep worksites safe, clean, and organized, handles material pickup and delivery, and makes sure materials are taken care of. He documents project progress and steps in wherever he can to support the team. Outside of work, Nate spends time with friends, family, and his dogs, Bella and Thor. He enjoys exciting adventures and brings the same big heart and care to everything he does.

Ryan McGarry
Project Manager
Experienced construction and project leader with over 12 years of managing contractors and coordinating multi-trade projects, consistently delivering high-quality results on time and within scope. Ryan joined A&S as a Project Manager, bringing 7 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, including deck building, full home renovations, and custom tiny home construction. He is known for strong leadership, effective problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail throughout all phases of a build. Outside of his professional work, Ryan actively coaches multiple sports teams, demonstrating a strong commitment to mentorship, teamwork, and performance development both on and off the job site.

James Lagunda
Operations Assistant
James brings energy and reliability to the A&S team, collaborating across nearly every department to keep our operations running smoothly. His versatility and steady presence make him a key part of our day‑to‑day success. Outside of work, James enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family.
Selena Blissett
Office Administrator
Selena, a Louisville native and a Mercy Academy Alumni. Continues to develop her professional skills in the administrative field at A&S Construction. Selena Prides herself in providing excellent customer service and communications that promote excellent client relationships as well as continuing to establish herself as a crucial asset to the A&S Construction team.
