Case Study: Two Story Deck Build

This stunning two-story deck transformation in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, completed in just under a month (February 5 – March 3), highlights A&S Construction’s expertise in premium outdoor living design. Our team installed new pressure-treated posts and framing, joists spaced 12 inches on center, and applied protective joist tape across all framing surfaces to ensure moisture resistance. The deck surface combines square-edge picture-frame borders and hidden-fastened grooved decking for a seamless, high-end aesthetic.

The structure spans approximately 566 sq ft and includes:

• Fully wrapped 1st and 2nd-story beams with Trex fascia
