Completed between July 7 and August 16, this second-story 480 sq ft Trex Enhance® Naturals deck in Louisville, KY showcases a full structural rebuild, upgraded materials, and a complete railing and fascia system for long-term durability. A&S Construction demolished the existing deck, preserved the two posts supporting the gabled cover , and installed new pressure-treated posts, framing, and 12" O.C. joists, all protected with joist tape for extended lifespan.
The deck features Trex Enhance Naturals Rocky Harbor decking, including square-edge boards for the picture-frame border and stair treads, and grooved-edge boards secured with Trex hidden fasteners for a clean, seamless surface. The railing system includes Trex Enhance/Select composite railing with round black aluminum balusters, complemented by Trex cocktail rail boards in Rocky Harbor and Biscayne.
